Bangalore

Bangalore, according to state historians, got its name from Bendakalooru (the town of boiled beans) after a king strayed into the area during a hunting trip in the late 14th century. A woman offered him a meal of boiled beans which the king enjoyed so much that he named the town after the dish. Bengaluru is a transliteration of the original spelling, according to state historians. Today it is known as the Silicon Valley of India.

Mysore

Mysore Known for its magnificent palaces and majestic buildings, sprawling gardens and tree- lined boulevards, shimmering silks and sandalwood, the 'City Royale' always figures in the tourist's itinerary. It conjures up visions and memories of the resplendent glory of the illustrious Wodeyar Kings. This former state capital is a seamless blend of old-world charm and modernity. It retains its tradition in music and dance, art and literature, and time-honoured crafts. Mysore today, is a pleasant and growing city in Karnataka with an old world charm, owing to its broad avenues, picturesque gardens, exceptional edifices and a salubrious climate. Now the State Tourism department has declared this city as “Heritage City”

Ooty

Ooty, the capital of Nilgiri district, is popularly known as the "Queen of hill stations' among the tourist circuits.. The height of the hills in the Nilgiri range, is 7500 Feet, the highest peak being Doddabetta at a height of 8642 Feet. Ooty is famous for its tea Plantations, and Eucalyptus Trees.

Kodaikanal

Kodaikanal is one of the most popular hill resorts in India. It is a charming hill station, stands amidst sylvan beauty on the southern crest of the upper Palani Hills near Madurai in Tamil Nadu. With its rocks, woods, lovely lake and bracing air, Kodaikanal is an ideal hill resort for the tourists. The unique flowering plant 'Kurunji'( blooms once in 12 years) that last bloomed in 2004, is nature's gift to Kodaikanal. Kodaikanal located amidst the folds of the verdant Palni hills is one of the most popular serene hill stations in India, which mesmerizes any visitor and is frequented all through the year. Kodai is situated at an altitude of about 7000 feet high and covers an area of 21.45-sq-km. The hill town is renowned for its educational institutions of international repute. The hill-plantain fruits and plums are known for their freshness and taste.

Detailed Itenary

Day 1 : Welcome to the Hitech City of Bangalore

You will be picked up from Bangalore Airport/Railway Station, and transferred to your Hotel, where our Executive, will brief you on your tour, and handover all the Travel documents, to you. After this you will be given a half day city sight seeing tour of Bangalore, covering Vishveswariah Industrial and Technological Musuem, Cubbon Park, Vidhan Soudha, (From Outside), Tippu’s Summer Palace, Bull Temple, Lal baug Botanical Gardens. Evening can be spent, doing shopping on M.G. Road, for local favorites like, Sandalwood artifacts, Perfumes, Mysore Silk items, etc.

Day 2 : Bangalore to Heritage City Mysore ( 140 K.M. 3 hrs drive)

After Breakfast check-out and proceed to Mysore enroute we visit the erstwhile capital of Tippu Sultan, Srirangapatna. Upon arrival in Mysore, lunch, and evening visit to Zoo, and time free for shopping.

Day 3 : Mysore City Sight Seeing

After Break fast visit to Chamundi Hill, followed by the Mysore Maharaja Palace, after Lunch visit to the World Famous Brindavan Garden, there you can see the Musical Fountain show. Return to Hotel and Night Halt

Day 4 : Mysore to Ooty. ( 120 K.M. 4 hrs drive)

After breakfast proceed to Ooty upon arrival check-in and Lunch, followed by a visit to Botanical Gardens and evening free to visit Charring Cross, Commercial Street for shopping.

Day 5 : Ooty Sight seeing

After Breakfast proceed to Doddabetta Peak highest peak in South India, followed by a visit to Coonoor, Sim’s Park, Dolphin Nose, and back for Lunch evening visit to the Lake for Boating, Horse riding etc.

Day 6 : Ooty to Kodaikanal ( 280 K.M. 7 hrs drive)

After Breakfast proceed to Kodaikanal, on arrival check-in and evening free. For a walk around the Serene lake.

Day 7 : Kodaikanal Sight Seeing

After Breakfast proceed for Kodaikanal sight seeing covering Coakers Walk, Bryants Park, Upper Lake View, Pillar Rocks, Green Valley View, Lunch Break, Kurinji Andavar Temple, Chettiar Park, Silver Cascade Water Falls, and Natural History Musuem.

Day 8 : Kodaikanal to Coimbatore/Bangalore/Madurai

After Breakfast we drive you back to the airport/rly.station for your return trip. It has been a real pleasure, having served you for these few days. We believe that you carry back everlasting memories of South India, and hope you will visit again, and recommend your friends to travel through us.

How to reach

This package starts ex-Bangalore, and all passengers intending to join this package should plan to reach Bangalore, preferably by noon.

On the last day of the tour, passengers can be dropped to Coimbatore , ( 170 K.M. 5 hrs) by afternoon, so please provide for return journey after that, or they can also be dropped to Kodai Road (80 K.M. 3 hrs) or Madurai (130 K.M. 4 hrs). So please book the air/rail tickets for the clients accordingly.

Points to ponter

- Cost Saver Packages are operated in 1 Star Category Hotels, in Non A/c Standard Rooms, but the client can expect Colour T.V. Clean Toilets, good Linen, in their Hotel Rooms. And the journey is by Non A/c Indica Car.
- Deluxe Packages are operated in 2-3 Star Category Hotels, in A/c Rooms in Bangalore, Mysore, and A/c Inidica Car.
- Grand Package is operated in 3-4 Star Category Hotels, with option for A/c Indica or premium car Like Ford Ikon and Hyundai Accent.
- The rates for the packages are the amounts nett payable to us, on a per person basis, please note that the actual cost of the package, calculated on the basis of the rack rates of the Hotels, and the market price of Car, would be 20 to 25 % more than the quoted rates. There fore we request you that when you sell these packages to your clients, do not mark it up by more then 10-15%, so that at the end of the day, your client gets a feeling that he has received value for money package, and he will further recommend more customers to you.
- Also clearly inform the clients, that the entrance fees, to sight seeing places, are not included in the package cost, and have to be paid directly by the client, also clearly inform them that, charges of personal nature, like, boating, Horse riding, Camera Fees, and all such other activities, have to be paid for directly by the clients.
- Also please advise your clients, that the car provided to them is on “at disposal basis” so they can use it as they like, but at the same time, they should be very clearly informed that vehicle cannot be used between 10 P.M. And 6 A.M. And in case they want to use it during that time, they need to pay Driver Allowance of Rs.150/= extra per usage, payable directly to the Driver. And sightseeing’s as per the itenary will be shown only once during the Tour.
- Sight seeing and Monuments, if they are closed on any particular, cannot be visited during subsequent days, and there shall be no refund for the same.
- Buffet Breakfast in the Hotel wherever applicable, will be provided in the Restaurant only, and cannot be availed as room service.
- 3 rd person in the same room, and child with extra bed, will only be provided with an extra mattress in the same, Double Bedded room, and they should not expect any bigger room, or room with 3 bed etc.
- The Hotels mentioned in the above “Hotel Name” table are our contracted hotels, and as much a possible we try to accommodate all our guest in the same Hotels, but during the peak season time, due to heavy rush, sometimes those hotels may not be available, and we shall provide alternate similar hotels. The same shall be informed to you at the time of booking confirmation.
- From our end, we take all the precautions, so that there is no change in Hotels after the confirmation, but in very rare cases, the Hotel may accommodate the guest in a similar category Hotel. Due to non availability of rooms.
- When there are 2 or more couples/families traveling to gather, every care will be taken by the Hotel to allot rooms, next to each other, but the same cannot be guaranteed.
- In some of the Hotels, instead of one large double bed there could be 2 single beds, this happens mainly in City Hotels, and this is unavoidable.
- The full cost of the package, should be remitted to us before the client commences the Tour, for which you can use our Multi city, account in ICICI Bank.
