Kovalam

Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches. It has been a favorite haunt of tourists, especially Europeans, since the 1930s.A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse-sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmes, Catamaran cruising etc. The tropical sun acts so fast that one can see the faint blush of coppery tan on the skin in a matter of minutes. Life on the beach begins late in the day and carries on well into the night

Kumarakom

The backwaters of Kerela is a unique product of Kerala and is found nowhere else in the world. Backwaters are a network of lakes, canals and estuaries and deltas of forty-four rivers that drain into the Arabian sea. The backwaters of Kerela are a self supporting eco-system teeming with aquatic life. The canals connect the villages together and are still used for local transport. Over 900 km of this labyrinthine water world is navigable. Kumarakom, is the most scenic, village in the Back Waters, and has lots, of facilities, for Tourist, hence most tourist’s prefer to stay here, and explore the Back waters.

Thekkady

The pride of Kerala and a testimony to nature's splendour and human innovation, the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is situated on the banks of the Periyar lake - an artificial lake, at Thekkady. Here the high ranges of the Western Ghats are clothed in dense evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savannah grasslands. Below this thick green canopy roam herds of elephants, sambars, tigers, gaurs, lion tailed macaques and Nilgiri langurs.

Munnar

Munnar, one of the most popular hill stations in India is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Located at 5250 Feet above sea level, this was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make Munnar a unique experience.

Cochin

The eventful history of this city began when a major flood in AD 1341 threw open the estuary at Kochi, till then a land locked region, turning it into one of the finest natural harbors in the world. Kochi thus became a haven for seafaring visitors from all over the world and became the first European township in India when the Portuguese settled here in the 15th century. The Dutch wrested Fort Kochi from the Portuguese in AD 1663 and later in the last phase of the colonial saga, the British took over, the town in 1795. During 1660's, Fort Kochi peaked in stature as a prime commercial centre and its fame spread far and wide - variously as a rich trade centre, a major military base, a vibrant cultural hub, a great ship building centre, a centre for Christianity and so on. Today, centuries later, the city is home to nearly thirteen communities. The Chinese fishing nets erected on teak wood and bamboo poles work on the principle of balance. Records say they were first set up here between AD 1350 and 1450. Vasco Da Gama Square, the narrow promenade that parallels the beach, is the best place to watch the nets being lowered and pulled out of the sea.

Detailed Itenary

Day 1 : Arrive in Trivandrum

You will be picked up from Trivandrum Airport/Railway Station, and transferred to Trivandrum/Kovlam Hotel as per itenary, evening visit to Kovalam Beach. Over night in Hotel.

Day 2 : Excursion to Kanniyakumari ( 90 K.M. one way 3 Hrs.)

Today we will take a full day excursion to Kanniyakumari, which is the southernmost Tip of India, and confluence of 3 seas. There we have to visit Vivekananda Rock, Gandhi Memorial, Devikuamari Temple, and Confluence of 3 seas. Enroute visit Suchindram Temple, and Padmanabhpuram Palace. Night Halt in rivandrum/Kovalam.

Day 3 : Kovalam/Trivandrum to Kumarakom ( 180 K.M.’s 5 hrs drive)

After Breakfast proceed to Kumarakom and check-in to Hotel. Evening is free to take the Sun set cruise on the World Famous Backwaters of Kerala. Either by country boat, or Motor/Speed Boat.

Day 4 : Kumarakom to Thekkady ( 140 K.M. 4 hrs drive.)

After Breakfast check-out and proceed to Thekkady enroute we pass through, quaint little Hill resort of Peermade, famous for its Tea Gardens, and waterfalls, reach Thekkady and check-in to the Hotel, evening visit Spice Plantation, Elephant Ride, and you can also do some spice Shopping from Kumily, which is the Largest Cardamom Auction Centre.

Day 5 : Thekkady to Munnar ( 120 K.M. 4 hrs drive)

After Break fast Enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Periyar, located in the Wild Life Sanctuary. As you cruise you may see some of the wild animals including Sambar’s,Wild Asiatic Elephants, Rare Lion Tailed Macaque and Migratory Bird’s, after lunch proceed to Munnar, reach and check-in to your Hotel and night halt.

Day 6 : Munnar Sight Seeing

After breakfast proceed for a sight seeing tour of Munnar, covering Madupatty Dam, you can have a speed boat ride over here, then Echo Point, after lunch visit to Rajamalai View Point, where you can see the rare Nilagiri Mountain Goat, from there proceed to Blossom Park, and Sun set view Point and night Halt.

Day 7 : Munnar to Cochin ( 120 K.M. 4 hrs drive)

After early Breakfast, proceed to Cochin, reach and, check-in to your Hotel. Then proceed for a half day sight seeing tour of Cochin, covering, St. Francis Church, Jewish Synagouge, Dutch Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets, evening free for Shopping on M.G. Road.

Day 8 : Cochin Departure

After Breakfast proceed to Cochin Airport/Rly. Station to take your onward journey. It has been a real pleasure, having served you for these few days. How to reach

This package starts ex-Cochin, and all passengers intending to join this package should plan to reach Cochin, preferably by Morning..

On the last day of the tour, passengers can be dropped to Cochin, So please book the air/rail tickets for the clients accordingly.

Points to ponter

- Cost Saver Packages are operated in 1 Star Category Hotels, in Non A/c Standard Rooms, but the client can expect Colour T.V. Clean Toilets, good Linen, in their Hotel Rooms. And the journey is by Non A/c Indica Car.
- Deluxe Packages are operated in 2-3 Star Category Hotels, in A/c Rooms in Bangalore, Mysore, and A/c Inidica Car.
- Grand Package is operated in 3-4 Star Category Hotels, with option for A/c Indica or premium car Like Ford Ikon and Hyundai Accent.
- The rates for the packages are the amounts nett payable to us, on a per person basis, please note that the actual cost of the package, calculated on the basis of the rack rates of the Hotels, and the market price of Car, would be 20 to 25 % more than the quoted rates. There fore we request you that when you sell these packages to your clients, do not mark it up by more then 10-15%, so that at the end of the day, your client gets a feeling that he has received value for money package, and he will further recommend more customers to you.
- Also clearly inform the clients, that the entrance fees, to sight seeing places, are not included in the package cost, and have to be paid directly by the client, also clearly inform them that, charges of personal nature, like, boating, Horse riding, Camera Fees, and all such other activities, have to be paid for directly by the clients.
- Also please advise your clients, that the car provided to them is on “at disposal basis” so they can use it as they like, but at the same time, they should be very clearly informed that vehicle cannot be used between 10 P.M. And 6 A.M. And in case they want to use it during that time, they need to pay Driver Allowance of Rs.150/= extra per usage, payable directly to the Driver. And sightseeing’s as per the itenary will be shown only once during the Tour.
- Sight seeing and Monuments, if they are closed on any particular, cannot be visited during subsequent days, and there shall be no refund for the same.
- Buffet Breakfast in the Hotel wherever applicable, will be provided in the Restaurant only, and cannot be availed as room service.
- 3 rd person in the same room, and child with extra bed, will only be provided with an extra mattress in the same, Double Bedded room, and they should not expect any bigger room, or room with 3 bed etc.
- The Hotels mentioned in the above “Hotel Name” table are our contracted hotels, and as much a possible we try to accommodate all our guest in the same Hotels, but during the peak season time, due to heavy rush, sometimes those hotels may not be available, and we shall provide alternate similar hotels. The same shall be informed to you at the time of booking confirmation.
- From our end, we take all the precautions, so that there is no change in Hotels after the confirmation, but in very rare cases, the Hotel may accommodate the guest in a similar category Hotel. Due to non availability of rooms.
- When there are 2 or more couples/families traveling to gather, every care will be taken by the Hotel to allot rooms, next to each other, but the same cannot be guaranteed.
- In some of the Hotels, instead of one large double bed there could be 2 single beds, this happens mainly in City Hotels, and this is unavoidable.
- The full cost of the package, should be remitted to us before the client commences the Tour, for which you can use our Multi city, account in ICICI Bank.
